FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes — LOST is played in the physical world. You walk, run, strategize, and physically locate your target using GPS. Eliminations happen through your phone's AR camera when you're close enough. This is not a sit-on-the-couch game.

Yes — all tournaments are free to enter. You compete for points and leaderboard rankings. Free tournaments are ad-supported.

Every player is assigned exactly one target and is being tracked by exactly one other player — forming a circular chain. When you eliminate your target, you inherit their target. The chain shrinks with every elimination until only one player remains.

Certain locations — like schools, hospitals, places of worship, and your personal home base — are designated as safe zones. You cannot be eliminated inside a safe zone, but your health meter will deplete while you're there. You can't hide forever.

Your health depletes when you're offline, in a safe zone, or outside the play area. It recharges when you're actively playing in bounds. If your health hits zero, you're automatically eliminated. It keeps the game moving and rewards active players.

You must be at least 13 years old to play LOST.

LOST is available nationwide in the United States, free on iOS and Android.

Yes. Any player can create a free tournament — set the format, define the play area, invite friends with a join code, and launch. You're the commissioner.
